Nice walking trails that are well marked. Surprisingly hilly.
Beautiful Township Park, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, 2 campsites, cabin, photography, nature study, fishing. Awesome.
Nice little Township Park with small lakes and couple miles of trails for you to explore. There is also some historical literature to read for your enjoyment. A very peaceful place.
Addison Township Water Preserve is a fantastic spot for a peaceful hike. The trails are well-maintained, and the recent addition of cameras provides an extra layer of security. While the park can get buggy, the abundance of nature—birds, ponds, streams, and a pine forest—makes it worthwhile. It’s also not very crowded, which adds to the tranquility of the area. Just be sure to pack some bug spray!
I love this place. Been going here for years and I feel like a serious controlled burn would do wonders for this area. Every year the over-growth gets worse and worse. And more and more trees keep falling. It’s beautiful but needs some help.
