Clean, well run, and friendly staff. The sites are quite adequate with many clean trails for walking and biking. Buhl lake for fishing and boating and a long list of kids activities on Saturday. We keep coming back tome and time again.
We had a great time camping. There are plenty of things to do. Trails, biking, fishing, paddle boats, row boats, and more. They had fun games and crafts for kids & music in the park 2 nights. Nice bathrooms and showers! We did tents. The sites were good size. We had a Wonderful Family weekend! We will be back!
Beautiful park! The playground was fun for the kids to play on while us moms sat at picnic tables. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful smooth paths. I was especially impressed with the clean bathrooms. Many stalls and everything was clean. AND the park is a science lesson about the solar system. There’s a model of the size comparison of the sun to the planets. The trail is set up to show the distance each planet is from the sun. We will visit here again.
I stayed here for a little under 2 weeks. Stayed back in area D in a tent. Honestly it’s was so peaceful staying here. The amenities are helpful the bathrooms are almost always very clean if not just clean. The showers are hot and don’t turn off every 2 minutes which is nice. The campground is very dog friendly which I loved seeing everyone’s pups even though I don’t have one. The laundry room was convenient just like koa. The trails were beautiful with picnic tables and playgrounds around. The kayaking and biking rental is reasonably priced and the equipment is taken care of. I loved my stay here so much that I might come back next year with my family instead of our normal spots. 10/10.
