No signage for directions! Parts of trail disgusting! Trash & vagrants by trail living on Lowe’s extension trail. Easy to get lost if you are not local. Lots of side extension trails !
Short, fairly flat trail aside from hill near library. Kudos to town of Lenoir for creating safer biking infrastructure with raised intersections to protect against auto traffic. Mostly shaded trail with some open fields of full sun. Fun little off trail excursion for a little mountain biking if you so choose. Free parking at trailheads as indicated on TrailLink app.
We’ve been to the greenway several times. Most recently, for bicycling. Sometimes just walking and even for Pokémon Go in the past. It’s peaceful and leisurely.
Two port a potties, fair number of parking spaces, and a decent Greenway, best one for miles.
You have the option to walk on the paved trail or hike through the park! Great exercise and great views
