If you’re searching for a peaceful and pet-friendly park in Lenoir, North Carolina, Cajahs Mountain Town Park is a wonderful local destination. This community park features plenty of shaded areas, walking tracks perfect for leashed dog walks, and a spacious fenced section, making it easy to enjoy safe outdoor fun with your pup. Dog owners will appreciate the green open space and the secure perimeter (though not double-gated), providing peace of mind during each visit.
The park is also family-friendly, offering slides, swings for kids of all ages, picnic tables, built-in grills, and a gazebo, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing outing where both kids and canines are welcome. Hand sanitizing stations and benches under covered areas enhance visitor comfort, and the festive tree lights during the holidays add unique charm. However, there are no restrooms or water fountains, so plan ahead for both you and your pets.

After being made aware that someone posted pictures, and stated we had ashtrays in the park, I want to report they are misinformed. Those towers they pictured as ashtrays, are actually hand sanitizing dispensers. They have a foot pedal at the bottom you can pump with your foot to dispense the hand sanitizer.
I just wanted to set the record straight, that we had NO ashtrays in the park
