The drive-thru tree was really cool, and the souvenir store was interesting. All the redwood trees were SO tall. We could walk through the bushes and admire the trees. It was here when I found my first 4-leaf clover! Also, you could see the occasional banana slug under ever few rocks. 🙂

More to this than I expected. Beautiful carvings out in the wooded areas, as big or bigger trees as we saw along the avenue of the Giants. And of course the drive through tree.
Drive through for medium sized sedans and smaller. I wouldn’t take a van or big truck.
Nice restrooms too. 😉

Cool since it’s the last one that you can drive through.
Be mindful that vehicles are much larger than when this was originally cut. Mirrors in and they still rubbed.
There are a lot of beautiful carvings from old trees. They are hidden gems to keep an eye out for.

A must-see landmark, but a bit pricey for what it is.
Driving through the Chandelier Tree was a cool experience and definitely one of those classic roadside attractions. The tree itself is over 2,000 years old, stands 315 feet tall, and has a 21-foot diameter. It’s amazing to drive through something that ancient!
That said, they do charge around NULL just to enter the park and drive through the tree, which felt a bit steep for such a quick stop. Also, once you commit to driving in, there’s no way to back up or turn around easily — so make sure your vehicle can fit comfortably.
Still a unique and memorable experience if you’re in the area, just go in knowing what to expect.
What a wonderful experience. The drive thru tree is beyond beautiful and fit most cars I saw while we were there. The gift shop was loaded with all kinds of fun mementos and even had delicious hot coffee! Clean bathrooms, lots of parking, and surrounded by beauty. Fun to walk around and see all the incredible wood sculptures sculpted right out of the trees. All in all a super fun visit.
