Clean, well manicured park. Great for watching the train.
Kids loved swinging and playing on the playground. There are plenty of shady spots to cool off, and a good breeze too. There is a walking/ running track around the outside that is probably an eighth of a mile. There are restrooms at the town hall building that are accessible from the park. Everything is very flat and seems like it would be pretty wheelchair friendly.
No dogs – including service animals – fyi. Learned the hard way. And of course, it’s a park, so don’t forget to bring cool drinks.
Nice park. With walking track as well and it has a fence around the play area
Simple playground but well maintained. Nice rubber walking path around the perimeter (7 laps = 1 mile), it has a bench at each corner for anyone needing a rest with the covered picnic tables in the middle where there’s also a grill. Nice large grass area to bring a ball or frisbee. The walking path would also do good for a kids bike or scooter (soft landing for falls too).
Small but very nice park. Bathrooms are very clean and the park is well taken care of. We had a great time running and walking the rubber track around the perimeter of the park. Dogs are welcome too! Ours had a wonderful time just sniffing around!
