Leesburg Dog Park – Where Leesburg’s Pups Play

If you’re looking for a friendly dog park in Leesburg, Florida, Leesburg Dog Park on Silver Lake Dr is a go-to spot. Locals and visitors alike enjoy this pet-friendly outdoor area for its spacious, fenced-in grounds – perfect for dogs who love to run off-leash and socialize. The park is noted for its welcoming community, cleanliness, and ample room for dogs to play, especially during the late afternoons when owners and dogs mingle most.

Amenities include wheelchair accessible entrances and parking, picnic tables, and plenty of parking spaces for easy access. The park provides stocked poop bags and waste stations for convenience. While dog owners like the overall upkeep of the park, there is currently no shade in the large dog area and the water fountain may not always be reliable—so plan ahead and bring your own water. Clean, friendly. Bring you dog down and let them run and play with the other dogs. Late afternoon is when I like to go. Nice group of people.

Upside: People and pups were nice & there’s a lot of space to run. Poop bags were stocked and lots of parking.

Downside: there’s no shade on the large dog side AT ALL (the canopies are gone). The water fountain was also clogged and moldy so definitely bring your own water and there was a decent amount of poop around

If you have a dog, this place is phenomenal. Very clean, great people to talk to while the fur babies play. Your first visit will not be your last.

You’ve got pit bulls there i avoid that park. I had my Australian Shepherd puppy attacked by a pit bull there. That dog should have never been allowed in the park. That pit bull is lucky he’s alive. Should be renamed pit bull park.

Milo (Red nose pitty) showed her new buddy, Gordan (grey husky) how to get down and dirty at the dog park!
