We come here for the dog park. Very quiet but small play area. Good for if you want alone time with your pup to run freely as there isn’t as many pups that come here. I have an aggressive German Shepard that can’t be around other dogs but his sister. They come here and play with each other.
DOG PARK: Not very well maintained and doesn’t seem to be used very often. Great for dogs that don’t play well with others, but our choice is Wharton Dog Park.
This is not one of the top parks in Roxbury and is usually and after thought. Used to be used for softball and baseball, now it is all for soccer. The park offers many different fields for soccer use. The dog park is a small gated area with some obstacles. If its rains, this park does not do well with any water. Usually will set back an athletic schedule back a few days. It’s an average park that meets the needs of the local community.
Probably nice during the spring, but in the rain it didn’t look too well. It has two large areas of field for baseball and soccer. The parking lot is also a very large stone, unmarked area. It’s pretty basic, nothing too exceptional, other than a dog park.
Great little park, with a fenced-in dog park! Storm lives it here. Has a bunch of obstacles for him to learn, and enjoy! Great place for other dogs! Also has a small bridge to a huge field, as well as a fenced-in soccer field.
