Ironwood Community Park is a beloved dog-friendly destination in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, offering families and dog owners a peaceful escape with a wealth of amenities. This well-maintained park features pet-friendly trails, including a paved walking path that circles the park and connects to the nearby Lebanon Valley Rail Trail, making it ideal for dog walking, jogging, and biking. The park is praised for its clean grounds, tall shade trees, and accessibility for people of all ages, including those with mobility challenges.
While Ironwood Community Park is not a dedicated fenced dog park, it is very dog-friendly and popular with pet owners, with water stations for both people and pets ensuring your four-legged companion stays hydrated. Packed with activities, this park also offers playgrounds for kids, picnic pavilions, sports fields, and plenty of seating areas—making it a great spot for family outings or a relaxing day with your pup. Ample parking and portable restrooms near the parking lot add to the convenience, and the friendly, welcoming atmosphere keeps visitors coming back.
Well maintained small community park with a short paved & wide walking path around the perimeter. Very busy on weekends! The park sign states to not hunt or discharge “Fire Arms.” Had to laugh at that. Maybe that’s a problem they’ve had in the past here? Kind of creepy, if you think about it.
This is a nice park with a good playground, tennis courts, volleyball, soccer and a walking path. My only complaint is the bathrooms by the playground are almost always locked. We’ve used them once ever and they’ve been locked every other time we’ve gone for years. Idk why they have them if you can’t use them.
Should be groomed alot more, would be my favorite except usually has rough sand
Very nice and clean playground. My daughter loved the slides they have
Very nice place,we flew a kite and played badminton there.
