Leadville Dog Park

Leadville Dog Park is a spacious and clean city dog park featuring a securely fenced area with multiple gates, making it safe for dogs to run and play freely. The park includes picnic tables, benches, and plenty of shade from trees. It is popular with dog owners and kids, and has ample parking nearby. Although there is no dedicated water fountain, visitors often provide water bowls. The park has a natural dirt and grassy terrain with some steep areas, and is well-maintained but could benefit from further community support.

Very clean, securely fenced in, and people have left gallons of water with a big bowl. My dogs loved it!

Our first time here. My dog loved it. She played with another dog, they ran around and had a blast. Nice fenced-in area with poo stations every few feet. Gates to keep it all closed in. We will definitely be back.

Went with a friend and his dog. Very pleasant, pretty large area for a city dog park. Lots of trees, some grassy areas (really weeds) picnic table and a few benches well placed. Great place for dogs to run & play.
Only downside is there is not a fountain for dogs to get water, but when we were there- some kind soul had brought a large water bowl & a few jugs of water.
There is a skate park just across the parking lot (dirt/gravel lot) & I believe I saw a children’s playground close by as well.

Went early morning on the weekend and had the whole place to ourselves! The park is bigger than it seems when you first pull up. Seemed very clean and well maintained when we went.

I take my dog there because I don’t know of another dog park in the area. Alot of the park is dirt and steep. It looks like a local civic minded group needs to adopt this place and bring it up to what could be.
