Sat and ate dinner. Had picked up a pizza and just enjoyed eating in the Pavillion. I love small towns. Kids playing at the wooden play castle; teens playing basketball, Church chimes playing, 6 o’clock whistle… Lawrence has a beautiful Park. Well maintained. Just lovely.
Wonderful park! Has several picnic tables under a pavilion, a large playground, and shade trees. The bathroom was unlocked when we visited on a weekday afternoon. Great place for a pit stop on a road trip with young kids.
No rides opened it 5 only games. Not good trucks concessions trailers open. Wasted 35 mile drive! Only dog parade starting.
Clean and fun! My kids loved it! Ages 8, 11 and 14. The trash was maintained, which is awesome as most places ‘forget’. There is a small section that has a wooden fence around the play area for the tiny ones. Awesome place to let the kids expell some energy. Every one is passed out in bliss tonight! Mom is enjoying the quiet ♡
There is also a great picnic area, a smaller picnic area, both covered.. and then a few random tables around the park, super convient! There is also a basket ball court with quite a few hoops!! Lastly, they do have restrooms, however I can’t say whether they were open and usable as we did not need them.
Very nice park. Plenty of stuff for kids to play on. Two separate pavilions, bathrooms, and a basketball court.
