I’m from Lawnside but live in Lindenwold now. The park is ok alot of different things go on in the park. Games, practice for sports and when they have Lawnside day the events and stuff is held at the park. That includes fireworks at the end of the event. I go to the fireworks every year that they have had it.
If ur a resident off Lawnside u already know how the park is , friends, family ect all hang out eat drink exercise watch football games, basketball games, fireworks ect … goodtime
Nice play area for kids, park has baseball and football field tennis court and basketball court as well as track

There is a hole in slide that can cut a child badly.

THO LAWNSIDE PARK STEADILY DECLINED AFTER WW2..WHEN THE MEN WENT AWAY TO WAR…IT WAS VIBRANT INTO THE 1970s…3 TO 5 THOUSAND PEOPLE WOULD AMASS ON WKNDS…WLL INTO THE LATE 60s..and the smell of ribs cooking COVERED THE TOWN ON WEEKENDS…BLACK ENTERPRISE…BLACK BUSINESSES…BLACK PEOPLE HAVING A GOOD TIME..THAT WAS THE REAL LAWNSIDE PARK
