We absolutely love bringing the family here. Fun for all ages, kids can walk across the river / beach area and touch in most spots && bearly no current..(good for young kids that are just learning or new to swimming). Bigger rocks located towards the bottom where picnic tables are and I’ve seen some kids playing && jumping in and it looked generally safe to do..Water is clean and no “junk” in the river & mostly sand in some spots there are some pebble size rocks but it’s mostly sandy in and out of the water. New life jackets for all kids sizes & some adults sizes. Sand castle toys and little shovels for the kiddos. The picnic tables are off to the side so the family can do their “own thing”.. You can walk up the river & tube down; we occasionally bring our own tubes and do this. Not a very good spot for fishing because the water is not very high and there’s usually kids playing. Nice brand-new bathrooms. The beach area is mostly clean without trash like most spots in Cleveland County & no homeless people just randomly out there camping. This spot closes around 8 pm so there’s plenty of daylight you and the family can have fun. 😊 my favorite spot along broad river to swim in and bring the kids.
