Lake Rabon Park stands out as a beautifully maintained and peaceful park in Laurens, South Carolina, perfect for dog owners seeking pet-friendly trails and outdoor adventures. This hidden gem offers scenic woodland surroundings, spacious picnic areas, and paved walking paths where you can enjoy dog-friendly hiking with your furry companions. Ample trash bins and clean, well-kept grounds make it easy to keep the park tidy during your visit.
The park features family amenities like multiple playgrounds, pavilions for gatherings, a large fishing pier, and a handy boat ramp, making it ideal for group outings or solo time with your pet. With paved trails lined with benches and accessible pathways, Lake Rabon Park welcomes everyone—including those who need wheelchair access—to enjoy its beautiful lake and shaded picnic spots.
Beautiful park. Lots of picnic areas, playgrounds, clean restrooms, and beautiful trails with trash cans to throw away dog droppings. I think I found my new favorite park.
We attended our sons gender reveal, the park was clean. And I also dont suggest the confetti poppers for gender reveal, we ended up making it a game to see who could pick up the most confetti but ended up wrapping tape-around hands and arms ( sticky side out) to pick up the confetti, as to not leave litter on the grass. It was a good 45 min of atleast 8 people(&kids) picking up tiny pieces of blue tissue paper confetti.
Lake Rabon has a beautiful park with play areas for the kids, pavilions for parties or picnics, a large pier to fish from, a boat ramp, and paved trails lined with benches, picnic tables and trash receptacles winding through the wooded area. There is a boardwalk that winds back and forth if you need to get down to the pier by wheelchair. There are restrooms, but I didn’t go inside them. I think the grills can be reserved or rented along with the pavilions. There are more than one. It is a beautiful park, and everyone is spaced out so nobody is bumping into anyone else’s business. It is very well taken care of and very clean! Update: The warden is so friendly! The restrooms are clean, and the size of motors on the boats are limited, so no big wakes to tip a kayak. 🙂
very beautiful park. well kept and clean. outstanding day trails. fine boat ramp. good fishing if you have a boat. otherwise not so good as the only place is the pier and cane pole fishing is what that was made for. the view over the lake from the last play ground is outstanding.
Very beautiful, quiet park. Definitely will be back.
