A nice walk through nature without being isolated in the woods!
This is such a lovely place to walk. I lived within 3 minutes walking distance to this park for 4 years, and for most of my mornings I would wake up and walk the trail beside the river here. It’s very serene and kept up well. You’ll find it busier on the weekends and after 4 once people in the neighborhood are off from work.
Nice little walking park with paved paths, small bridges, and picnic pavilions.
Wish there was easier access to the water. Slopes are steep and muddy.
I like to walk so I’m checking out all the walking paths in the area. This one was alright.
Pros: Paced pathway, in nature, seems to be maintained well in most places. There is a playground along the path.
Cons: I don’t like walking behind the pool area. There were trash cans full of trash and trash along the pathway. Trash was also smelly.
Overall, it’s a decent place to walk. I’d go here again if I wanted to walk somewhere closer to home.
Very basic park, but the trail next to the river is wonderful. Park at the end of the trail, at the swimming pool, or in the middle. There are plenty of benches and things to see along the way. We saw blue birds, cardinals, ducks, seagulls, squirrels, and other wildlife
