Beautiful park by a lake. Playground, tables for cookouts. Paddle boats in the summer. Bathroom near the playground. Dog friendly.
It’s a beautiful park to walk in the morning and during sunset.
People were also very friendly!
Only public parking access to the park is on Mulberry street. Google maps currently shows the “entrance” to the park as the parking lot of a Tex-mex restaurant that has “customer only” parking signs every ten feet and the rest of the lake is also surrounded by private property, mostly housing complexes. Great playground that is well shaded by old trees, it is a lot of neat climbing equipment but one part is for younger kids that suited my 3 yr old. There are also multiple covered pavilions with picnic tables. We were there in the afternoon and the lake-house was closed so only portable bathrooms available, and no paddle boat rentals.
It was great to be there for the children’s activities on May 3, 2025.
Very family and budget friendly.
I enjoyed the Jerusalema Formation dance too
