This is our favorite hiking trail in this area. Parking is easy, the trail is well maintained and it takes around 45 minutes to do the shortest loop of 3. Great views of the lake and plenty of places to stop, sit and enjoy the views. There is also a restroom midway.

Quick and easy trail. People fish around the perimeter of the lake. Plenty of free parking at the natural refuge center. The trail itself is so well maintained and clean with plenty of signs and maps to prevent getting lost with various intersections to get to other trails. Great trail.

Loved the trail and lake. My 4 year old daughter had no trouble doing the trail, fairly flat and only a couple muddy areas
