I grew up in Larned & enjoyed the fountain & the swimming pool & the whole park, especially as the park started right across our back alley so this park was basically my back yard & it was wonderful!
Great river access, skatepark, open areas, ducks, fountains, and beautiful trees. The park needs to be upkeep more frequently, some stuff is decrepit

Came here for a break from sitting vigil by my mother-in-law’s bedside and am glad we did. There is a rose garden there that was exactly what we needed to unwind. We ate lunch at the gazebo and strolled casually through the roses. When we were there we were the only ones at the park.
One of the most comfortable parks to camp in if you’re doing the American Discovery Trail. Registration at the police office in town. Shower is out of service due to vandalism unfortunately.
