It was a great day for our Calliope. She had 5 other dogs to play with and run around. She had a great time and was physically exhausted (peaceful night). We like the dog park because it gives plenty of room for Calliope to run and have fun just being a dog. Can’t wait to take her back.

Dog Park in Lansing isn’t anything out of this world but it’s just what everyone needs. I’m sure everyone that uses it can’t be happier. I’ve taken my dog a handful of times and when he has other friends to cut loose with then nothing else matters 😁. It really is nice to see that here because it doesn’t exist anywhere else in Ashe.

The park is beautiful and home to a lot of events. I had been trying to plan a trip with my furbabies for a year. The day arrives, dogs are excited, owners are excited until we arrived. Two older men were in the dog area with grown Pits. We walked over to read the signs, looking for information. I asked the two men how long they’d be? I was quickly informed they weren’t leaving and that I could turn my dogs loose with their’s. I have a setter and a chihuahua, really?! We decided to walk around and waited over an hour for them to leave, which didn’t happen. Needless to say, our dog park experience was squashed. Lansing should really consider using time limits for the dog park area.
