Highland Playground Dog Park – Lansing, Kansas

If you’re looking for a dog park in Lansing, Kansas that welcomes both pups and their people, Highland Playground offers a convenient community spot! Recently updated, it features a nicely fenced dog area with separate spaces for both large and small dogs, so your furry friend can play safely. The spacious grounds provide plenty of room for running, and there are grassy stretches ideal for playtime. While shade is limited inside the dog park itself, nearby walking trails offer pet-friendly hikes and peaceful views for you and your dog to enjoy together.

This dog-friendly park includes handy amenities such as waste stations with supplied poop bags and trash bins, and a water spigot near the entrance for thirsty pups. Owners will find just a few seating options inside the park, so bringing your own chair is a good idea. The adjacent playground and picnic areas also make Highland Playground a great choice for families. Note that the park is not open year-round and doesn’t offer much natural shade within the dog park boundaries.

This is an extra tiny community park that is basically a small fenced playground equipment. Most of these reviews are for a park in LV called Jefferson not the tiny, cute, one bench fenced park in Lansing called Highland. Younger kids tend to like it more the older ones can ride their bikes in the roads or rollerskate on the small round sidewalk.

Cute little neighborhood playground. New equipment, well maintained. There are benches to sit and the playground is fenced in.

Michelle Zamora

Cute playground and baseball field. Has jungle gyms for toddlers and big kids, as well as bucket swings. One picnic table, 5 benches and a trashcan. Only complaint is that there was some trash laying around.

This is the best place to go if you are one adult with two small children! They can’t get very far, but they will have a blast!

The picture is old and it’s not up to date. The picture shows an Mariel go round on it. But when I took my little boy there it did not one there at all. The city took it out for what reason I dont know. But they could of put something else there to replace it. It would of been Respectful for a family that has young children to play on than what they have now.
