Palmetto Kennels

I can’t speak highly enough of Paws in the Panhandle. My family adopted Mia on July 31st 2020. We’ve had her for just shy of a month and she is easily the best dog any of us have ever had or been around. She fits perfectly into our lives. This rescue knows their dogs, inside and out. Their description of Mia’s very sweet personality has been nothing but true, and we’re so thankful to have her. Paws in the Panhandle surpasses my local shelter in quality of care, passion, and honesty. Hands down. I’d make the drive all over again for this rescue; it’s worth it.

Friendly and helpful people who truly care about their animals and getting them into loving homes. They brought out every dog my family wanted to meet and told us about the dogs’ histories. When there was a question about the vet records of our previous dogs, they called and asked us about it rather than flat out denying our application. We’re so happy with our new dog and will be returning to Paws in the Panhandle/Palmetto Kennels for our future boarding needs.

Not the newest cleanest dog kennels, but fair prices and they will accommodate you if you need 2 dogs in one run. I have 2 dogs one 70lbs one 20lbs. They hate it when they are separated. Never had an issue here at Palmetto. Been using then for 3 years now. Staff is friendly as well.

I would trust them with my human child. We have lived in Brooklyn and now in Atlanta and we will only trust our fur son Biggie here. They are kind, and treat your babies like their own. Plus the long runs have heating/air and they have access to run outside where they have little misters to keep the babies cool in the summer! My Biggie always leaves like he went to summer camp lol

My dogs were well cared for. To me it can’t be understated that I know my 4 legged kids are taken well care of and SAFE. This place isn’t the fanciest, but they’re important where it counts. Recommend highly.
