Just moved from Salt Lake City and had been looking for trails. Although no elevation, I really liked the paved paths and boardwalk combination. It’s well marked very shady in areas which is both good and bad. On a hot day it’s cooler but when it rains, there are puddles in low-lying areas that are muddy and slick. Not too many today. Few biting flies. May consider bringing bug spray next time. I used the all trails app and the path ended sooner than the app indicated due to construction of future progress. Round-trip was just under 4 miles. Parking was plentiful at Barr Street learning center.

I have taken hundreds of photos here of insects and plants. It is a nice walk through the city of Lancaster in the wooded areas. It is along a flooding area, unfortunately.

You can find more of the photos I’ve taken along the Lindsay Pettus Greenway on my insta close.st.shot

An amazing hidden gem in Lancaster. I love taking my dog for walks here. It’s maintained very well!! Theres even a short nature path that i like to take him on where he can guide the walk and sniff and be a dog and then we do a good walk on the wooden path. I love it here. Very peaceful as well!

Great location and walking paths. Very modern and enjoyable place to walk and be in nature. Has very nice wide paved and wooden walkways. Great to go to just live a healthy lifestyle or to go to meditate.
