It’s got a pathway going thru/around the park. A playground with swings. A water sprinkler(at the time of this post), bench seats throughout, a large flat grassy area to maybe throw a ball around or a frisbee.
I didn’t catch if they have a water fountain. You could have a picnic.

Went to an event over the weekend. The park was very clean. There is parking but very limited. There is a playground but I didn’t visit it. Plenty of benches to sit and also a few tables (unless ppl brought them). Felt safe but sort of dark. I only gave a 4 star because the event was over, I went to go use the bathroom and it was locked. Seem as though there is no time to use right after the event.
This is a public park here in Lancaster county right behind an Art Museum. It’s right in the corner of a beautiful community with homes and businesses here in Lancaster City. This location offers a gated playground where children can play safely without the risk of running into traffic on a surface that has been newly built to prevent hard trips, slips and falls. Children can explore the brand new playground equipment among other exciting details in the play area for multiple facets of play. The park also hosts a community compost location. The park has multiple picnic tables and a beautiful sidewalk that runs around the perimeter where you will often find walkers and the humans that are going along for the walk with dogs. In the park has plenty of trash cans, is clean, and is kept nice and trimmed so the grass is perfect for laying a picnic blanket down, throwing a ball, and even practicing yoga. And there is a public piano! Along with the piano, there is a beautiful checkerboard or chessboard that folks can set up to sit at and play or even use for drawing. In the Summers this is my favorite place to take and teach Yoga. This is a memory and a summer tradition that I value and honor very very deeply. There are also lots of events in the park over the summer that are hosted by the county that draw lots of familiar and new faces.
Our go-to park! It’s so cute with the perfect little walking trail for dogs, and the playground for kids. Just a nice way to spend an afternoon, and even though it’s in the city there’s always parking. Plus it’s within walking distance of coffee AND ice cream.
Kid friendly playground for the little ones and a separate jungle gym for the bigger kids. Has the soft rubber squishy ground around the play sets for any falls. Also dog friendly for the fur babies! Nice picnic tables and a walking trail around the whole park. They have bands and events there quite often as well. Nice clean park.
