Many plots for growing your own veggies. Ample parking and water available for your garden.
Peace n quiet, walking trails, creek, and the deer don’t eat my jalapeños!
But the deer LOVE my tomatoes, so they got way more than I did *_*
It’s an awesome park, with lots of cascilla teeth and capabilities for a wide range of activities. There’s Mountain Trails, and heels, and valleys with streams, soccer fields, baseball fields. There’s a plantation in the middle, there’s formal Gardens down towards the one end. And again, lots of trails for hiking, biking, dog walking, horseback riding. Great place to see wildlife too. Quite a large deer herd in there.
I love this park! This park has amazing hiking trails and plenty of areas to cook out and relax by the river. There are a variety of places to walk or run. There are a bunch of Pavillions and playgrounds. This place is so big that you can easily get lost so be careful. You can see animals at any given time. There is also a skate park and tennis courts here that are well-kept. I highly suggest you check it out!
If you are looking for a bit more green space in Lancaster this is a good spot. Quiet with nice people working and keeping to themselves and their plants but also willing to share advice and tips. Only word of warning would be that the local deer population may just make a snack of some of your plants 😉
