The woods are a little creepy – very isolated. That’s a double edged sword though, as the forest can be a sanctuary and very peaceful. The water is so tranquil and calm on nice days. When it’s stormy, the water is rough and the wind encourages widow-makers. It’s best to have your head on a swivel at all times.
Awsome sauce
If you enjoy little adventure and just basically a walk around fields near a pond with lots of bugs, you’re in for a treat. I do not like any of these things. Trails are not marked, use alltrails nav if you’re trying to find your way. Will not return.
We love it here! Took the dog and the boyfriend. We been here twice now. Very quiet, very clean, lots of water. No litter. Think there’s a 3 mile loop. A little hard to find parking area, but totally worth it. Well maintained, bugs not too bad. Out of 3 hours there we maybe encountered 2 other hikers. This is me and my boos new “special place”. Lots of frogs toads and swans. I think it might be water supply? No one in water or no boats anywhere so I’m assuming. Looks like ppl might fish from the shore there, we saw a couple lures.
