Cutest little ranch! All the animals are so gorgeous they all seem to be very well taken care of and the staff was super helpful and nice.
I definitely recommend everyone take a little visit here you can drive through then when you are done you get to walk through and feed some of the animals!
This place is amazing! The staff is so nice and will take time to talk to you about all the animals. The drive through part is pretty cool. The animals have large, natural enclosures but are easy to see. The walking part has a variety of animals to see. You can get hands on with some of the farm animals and there are some you can feed. My son LOVED feeding the alligators. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area!
Great experience; drove 2.5 hours away and it was worth it all the way. The animals are very well taken care of, the staff is very interactive and attentive. They have a larger variety of animals all hanging out in enclosures as well as free roaming. When we showed up we were informed about the gator pond that had been added and it was a newer experience. You were also allowed to hold a baby gator! Very exciting and fun experience.
We were on a road trip and I saw a sign for Sandy Oak Ranch so we decided to stop. Had no expectations going in. We went in the morning when the zoo first opened.
The first part of the ranch is the drive thru safari. It should be noted that the animals are in enclosures, so it’s not the type where they come right up to the window.
The second part was the farm area, which was really cool! We were able to feed goats, emus, a baby cow, and other animals. They also let us hold baby goats and a baby duck! There were also a variety of other animals, including free range peacocks. For a fee we were able to hold a baby alligator.
We met the owner as we were walking around. He was very friendly and made sure we were taken care of. Overall we had a great time and would return.
We came here for a school field trip. The owner walked with us and explained about each animal along the way. The animals are very well cared for. This was fun and I’ll probably return to see more ways they are planning to expand and get more animals.
