Cavalero Hill Dog Park is a spacious, well-loved off-leash dog park in Lake Stevens, WA, offering plenty of amenities for pet owners and their furry friends. Spread across a large, fully fenced area, this park features both a main off-leash zone and a separate, fully-secured shy dog (or small dog) area. The park is surrounded by mature trees, providing ample shade, and includes walking trails that encircle the grounds. It’s the perfect spot in the Lake Stevens or Snohomish area for dogs to run, socialize, and play freely in a safe and welcoming environment.
Dog owners appreciate the added features such as double-gated entries (sally ports), agility equipment, a small stream where dogs can cool off, picnic tables and benches for humans, and other comfort amenities like waste bins and doggy bag dispensers. While water jugs and bowls are often provided by the community, you should bring your own water and bowl, especially during busy times. With ample parking and easy access to nearby skate and playground areas, Cavalero Hill Dog Park is a top pick for anyone looking for a well-maintained, pet-friendly outdoor space in Greater Lake Stevens.
This dog park definitely has it all. HUGE, Off-Leash area that has plenty of large trees that offer tons of shade, always plenty of balls, doggy bags in case you forget yours, yard waste bin, logs for your dog to climb on, benches and picnic tables, walking trail that goes all the way around, tunnel and agility/training toys, and a small stream that outflows from the nature preserve area. There’s a sally port for entering this area, which I thought was nice. Across from that is a smaller fenced area that also has tree/shade and picnic table. This area is called the “shy dog” area. Both areas are well maintained and have a mix of grass and dirt areas. There is a porta-poddy if you need a bathroom. Ample parking. I always see hand sanitizer and water supplied there, but I would bring your own dog bowl for obvious reasons. There is also a huge skate park as well as half basketball courts at this location.
Best dog park around! It’s very well maintained, and kind of has it all. The people and dogs are all great, every time. Never had an issue with anyone or anything there. Very thankful for this place!
My dog loved it! Lots and lots of room to run around. There are trees for shade and for climbing (if your dog climbs trees). There’s a little stream and mud hole for your dog to play in (spa day). There is water here and bowls, but it’s to be used in moderation as people bring and donate water by the jug, so it may be best to bring your own water/bowl. There is a shy dog area that is completely separated by a walking trail, so if you have a smaller dog or a shy dog, there is a nice easy going fenced in park for them. There is a Sally port to keep dogs from escaping when people enter and leave. I enjoyed it, but more importantly my dog enjoyed it. I recommend it!
Nice off leash dog park near Snohomish and Lake Stevens. There is a smaller shy dog area and a large regular section. Lots of open space to run and play. An area with trees for shade and some benches for the humans. Only one section with a small muddy stream otherwise things were dry. No running water, so bring your own. There is a porta-potty outside the fenced area.
Large off leash park, lots of trees and area to run. Only a few dogs when I went and responsible owners. There is a large water jug with water but unfortunately it was byob… Bring your own bowl. Guess maybe for health reasons? My girl pepper had a great time… she’s under the willow looking tree in my pictures. My favorite local dog park (strawberry fields) is closed for maintenance so I’ll be using this park for now.
