Lake Land Or Dog Park is a convenient local option for residents of Lake Land’Or, Virginia seeking a quiet, pet-friendly spot for their companions to play and socialize. Located within a private gated community, this dog park features a fully fenced area that allows dogs to roam off-leash in a safe environment. Neighborhood residents enjoy easy access to the park, which also benefits from a scenic setting near local campgrounds.
Though compact, the dog park provides basic amenities such as a water fountain and stone bowls for pets on hot days, seats for owners including benches and a picnic table, and waste stations with bags and trash bins (though it’s a good idea to bring your own bags, just in case!). The park is typically quiet, offering space for dogs to play freely, and is maintained by local staff. Note that restroom access can be restricted, especially if campground facilities are not in use.
The dog area is a large gated space within the campgrounds of a private community. The campground is also available to rent for RV’s, tents, etc. We live in this community, so we go a few times a week. It’s almost always empty. Good walking path & lovely area. The maintenance people keep the place clean. Only thing I don’t like is that the bathrooms are always padlocked (if nobody has rented a spot), so my key card can’t open them. However I understand that kids were vandalizing them, so I can see why they’re double locked.
Simple fenced in area with water siget for those hot days. Please bring bags for waste as the container there may be out.
Seemed small and too tucked away. No restrooms..parking is odd.
It’s ok. It does have a fenced in area specifically for dogs and allows them to play about. It gets a bit unkempt but it’s never too terrible. There is a water source and stone bowl for them to drink from. Poop bags are typically available. When it is slow, better trained dogs have the whole area to wander about beyond the fences but PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR ANIMALS.
This is a small dog park located inside of Lake Land’Or. In order to access it, you will have to live in the neighborhood or get someone from the neighborhood to allow you in.
The park itself is great for people in the neighborhood to bring there dog for a quick outing. There isn’t much in the park, only a picnic table, bench, and water fountain for the dogs. There is a trash bin with doggie bags available.
