I enjoy this park for me and my dog
It’s a little off the Main Street off Setauket. We saw signs for summer concerts and that’s great. It is a privately maintained preserve. Saw a few families with little ones who were in awe of the number of turtles popping up out of the water or sunning themselves on the floating stationery logs in the estuary.
It’s a nice afternoon stroll.
It’s small but very nice. An asphalt loop for those who are tick-wary with dirt paths entwined, twisting through the middle. There are some benches and other exercise installations throughout
My wife and I love to walk in this sweet little park. It’s very well maintained, and people you meet there seem polite and nonthreatening. Very flat and clean walkway, good for those who may have difficulty hiking in a more rugged setting. Easy and pleasant way to enjoy a stroll through the trees. Some interesting plantings as well. Tiny parking lot kind of ensures a less crowded experience
