I took my kids here just to play and swim for a few hrs. The restroom looks a little sketchy but it was convenient. The play ground is dated but they had a blast. A very cool old merry go round, we don’t see those often. Toddler swings, full swings, two play structures, monkey bars. It was plenty of room.
The beach is great!! I love that it stayed quite shallow for the first few feet, great for the toddlers. My sons found some really cool shells here and some living snails and zebra mussels attached to a couple rocks. Only NULL to get in for the day. What a deal!
Picnic tables nearby, very close parking. Picnic areas have plenty of shady mature trees.
We pulled in here for a playground break on our way to the UP. Our truck broke down, and the park manager helped us out with a ride. Can’t say thank you enough, what a blessing to find great folks along the way. Thanks again, Todd.
My kids had fun in the water, but it seems like the restrooms should be available for use if the park is open for the season. NULL a day to swim and can’t change into dry clothes or use a toilet.
Beautiful beach! Nice little boardwalk to the bathrooms… not too crowded & the water is very shallow for a long ways which makes it more comfortable for when you have smaller kiddos ✨️🌊✨️🏖
It’s really a hidden gem!
Really nice beach and playground. They have a covered pavilion, play set for kids, volleyball net, boardwalk, plenty of parking, swings and baby swings.
