Good little lake. Boat ramp is easy to get too and easy to get into the water. The lake itself isn’t deep at all. Mud bottoms, roughly 4.5-6f deep. Plenty of pan fish, gar and bass. Nice little swimming beach area for the family, and learned that if you dig into the sand at the beach area you can find freshwater clams and muscles. Bathrooms, play set and plenty of cover area. Been four times already and plan to return in the future.

Kids like the park. But the play things do get hot in the summer or when it’s supper hot out. We were here at 10:45 AM and most things are too hot for hands or butts. But in the evening is better.
