Stayed at the hotel because of wedding, hotel choice was made by wedding party. When checking in we inquired about the free cookies and water offered to Choice members, as the sign at the front desk clearly stated was available to Choice members. But were told “we don’t do that here”. While all other Choice hotels do offer them, if you’re not going to participate take the sign down. The bathroom door is so tight to the toilet that you have to straddle the toilet in order to close the door. Bottom of the toilet was black, not sure if it’s from wear and tear or not being cleaned. Either way it was disgusting. The bathroom floor has not been thoroughly cleaned in quite some time. The same with the carpet in the bedroom, needs a good cleaning. Attention to detail is not the hotels strong point. The positive was the breakfast had a wide selection and was very plentiful.
It’s a nice low budget hotel but unfortunately the prices weren’t low budget. If I was to visit the area again I would look to stay at another hotel.

The room thermostat is set up so the fan won’t stay on constantly, it will turn on and off walking you up throughout the night. The temperature also changes itself as well. Impossible to get a decent night’s sleep here.
The walls are also paper thin so without the white noise if the AC you can hear your neighbors perfectly.

AC system was horrible, it was so hot in the room. I couldn’t even get the fan to stay on. Extremely noisy place. I could hear the people nextdoor on the toilet!!! I had to listen to their TV until 1am. Just an overall bad experience. Good points…the staff was super friendly. The rooms were clean. Easy access to the highway.

Absolutely horrible experience. It was so noisy, I could hear the TV from the room nextdoor until 1am. I could hear their water running and toilet flushing. You CAN NOT control the AC fan. It’s set on the wall, and only goes on periodically. Which was annoying too. If I could have put the fan on, it would have drowned out the noise. Not to mention the room kept getting hot. It was just a horrible experience. I booked for two nights. I want a refund and leave. I didn’t sleep a wink all night. I contacted the front desk, the girl was apologetic..but not much she could do. If you find yourself stuck..stay here. The rooms are clean, but if you can find anything else.. you should book elsewhere. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel.

We booked a room 2 months in advance for a wedding, and posted in the notes section of our reservation that we were bringing a dog. We were called THE MORNING we were driving out to the wedding that we would not be able to keep our dog crated in our room unattended while we attended the wedding. We were driving over 4 and a half hours for this wedding, and had to scramble to make other arrangements and thankfully found a family friend in the area who let us keep our dog there during the wedding. The hotel claimed this policy was on the website, BUT finding their SPECIFIC website was near impossible as every search for this specific comfort inn brings you to Choicehotels.com, and the dog policy on that website for this hotel lists NOTHING about not being able to leave a dog crated in the room. It was completely unacceptable and ridiculous to expect us to make other arrangements THE DAY we were driving out. If we had been informed even just a week in advance, I would have been understanding. But calling your customer THE DAY they are set to arrive is absolutely unacceptable. The rooms were dark and very outdated and each one had an odd smell to them. Our entire family was staying at this hotel and I can assure you we will be staying WELL clear of any comfort inns in the future. Awful experience. They can make every excuse they want to say their policy is on their website, but if I can’t find the website in the first place, then how was I supposed to find out. Also, not checking a reservation until the morning of that was made 2 months is atrocious. This is hotel is ANYTHING but pet friendly and I mean it when I say please, stay far away.
