It was a nice experience for my girlfriend and I. Our first trip of the year and it was pretty much all to ourselves. Decent sized lots, great foliage, and just an overall awesome state park experience. Restrooms could use an update but useable.
My family and I love this park! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and always happy to answer questions or help with boat rentals. The trails are fun to hike, they have a great camping area and playground for the kids! The lake is huge and fun to enjoy all kinds of great activities! This is one of the cleanest parks to boot!
It’s a beautiful place for a walk during this time of year, very clean and well taken care of park and it has a great beach with an amazing view of the lake.
Beautiful park in Central lower Michigan. Camping, hiking trails, swimming, and biking, all there. Try it, you’ll like it. Grills and fire pits.
