If you’re looking for a dog park in Laingsburg that’s both family-friendly and accessible, Bates Scout Park offers a welcoming green space for everyone. This park stands out for its variety of amenities including wheelchair accessible entrances and parking lots, picnic tables, barbecue grills, public restrooms, and multiple play structures. Whether you’re gathering for a kid’s birthday party, a local baseball game, or simply enjoying time with your dog, there’s plenty to do here.
The park features broad fields, shaded picnic areas, and a playground with nostalgic equipment. While Bates Scout Park isn’t a traditional off-leash dog park, leashed dogs are allowed, making it a great option for those looking to walk their pets and take in Laingsburg’s outdoor charm. The park’s lively atmosphere, especially during baseball games and summer events, make it a popular spot for families and dog owners alike.
I love this place . It has lots of acorns that can fall down and crack you in your head while you cook your hot dogs over a rotten Grill. The concession stand is great during all the baseball games all summer long .it is a beautiful part . Oh and watch out for the grumpy Neighbors he’s just super bald .
Great if you enjoy baseball or softball with the family. Plenty of pavilion space that can be reserved for events and reunions. Plus a fairly recent refurbished basket ball court and play equipment for kids, though lots of the equipment is old, it’s still sturdy and well maintained.
Nice little Park. Definitely not enough parking or enough restrooms
I love this park, especially the rundown side by the baseball field where the the springy seesaw characters faces are warped and faded. It was a perfect location to film my horror film project and living close by makes it a fun location to bring my friends. Perfect for that but I think the intended use by kids might be a little dangerous with all the rusted out equipment such as the swings, though it possibly could have had matinence since March
This slide and playground equipment were a blast from the past. I broke my collar bone the first time on a slide just like this in elementary school.
