Really like this park… one way in and out – makes me feel safe. Also the pond is a nice touch. Always kept clean.
Enjoy this part because it’s very quaint but well-kept. While we were there there was barbecues and people having birthday parties and it’s just a very good overall experience as far as whether you want to take your children there or just a good place for you and your friends to hang out and have a barbecue or something like that. Definitely would put it on a list if you’re looking for a nice part to visit at
It’s a quiet place. It has a men’s restroom. Stinks, but the toilet does work. I saw two other people here. One was walking a dog and had on a mask. Nobody bothered me for not wearing one. The water in the pond is clear and relatively clean.
Great little pocket park in Lafayette, beautiful veterans memorials and playground equipment for the kids. Saw lots of people pulling in to eat their lunch here. Outhouses here
We went have a picnic and ate McDonalds and KFC since it’s closer and enjoy the fresh brezze,it wasn’t hot and it was a beautiful day,had no one there, just kinda creepy when people sitting in their VECHICLES and you don’t know who sitting in there watching you,it be mostly guys in different VECHICLES,most women go bring their kids or grandkids, not often Grandpa’s out there with kids! So just be careful bc you hv to keep your eyes on them always, the parking area is right in front the playground, and thersis an apartment building facing you as you sit and eat, just so easy access to kids,so don’t go taking walks, leaving your kids to play,it seems like a nice environment, but people is in and out quick!🙏🏽🫶💜Enjoy,be safe!
