This is a small City Park at the base of a water tower. The amenities include regular and toddler swings, a small pavilion, a play ground area, some workout equipment, soccer fields and a track.
The main park in the city is Girard Park by the University and that one is the go to if you are visiting and can get around.
Overall this park is not bad, it’s just one of the smaller parks.

I am fairly new resident to the state of Louisiana. I am living the dream of my new found heaven on earth home! I really needed a peaceful place to tire my 1yr old German Shepherd with daily walks. Found! Both she and I love the view of all what the park has to offer, as we do a few laps on the walking path! Her and I love knowing that the park is a safe place for the furry friends, both doggies and kitties! ❤🐕🐩🐱🐈 And I love all the friendly humans! 🤗

William “Bear” Bottoms

Seems like kind of a rough neighborhood and there were a lot of homeless people hanging around but they weren’t causing any issues.
