This beautifully maintained dog park in La Quinta offers pet owners a safe and friendly spot to let their dogs socialize and play off-leash. PAWS’ WEST is fully fenced and features separate areas for small and large dogs, each providing plenty of room for exercise. The park is open from dawn until 10 pm and is exclusively available to residents of the Del Webb community or PGA WEST members, making it a serene and private escape for your pups. Mature shade trees, grassy areas, and a variety of fun dog toys create an engaging dog-friendly environment.
Amenities include double-gated entrances, shaded seating areas, a dedicated parking lot, dog water fountains (including a filtered water bottle refilling station), and poop bag stations throughout the park to help keep the grounds clean. Well-lit pathways allow for enjoyable visits even during dusk, while landscaping upgrades and recent improvements ensure the park remains lush and comfortable for both dogs and their owners. With a nearby children’s playground and close connection to other pet-friendly spaces in Palm Desert, this dog park stands out as a top destination for dog lovers in Coachella Valley.

Nice park but my dog and I got attacked by a big dog whose owner said if I was wearing more than my bathing suit and cover up I would not have been scratched by her dog pawing at my back to get to my dog. It was 97 degrees and we were minding our own business. So not cool for her to try to make her dog’s bad behavior an outfit issue. Probably won’t go back. Watch out for Jesse. Young, untrained and aggressive, looks like an orange retriever.
