FAQ for La Jolla Heights Natural Park in La Jolla California:
Great views of the ocean and La Jolla. Fairly steep so bring proper shoes.
Nice little hike uphill for some nice views of La Jolla and the Pacific Ocean. It got steep at times, so I wouldn’t recommend it for little kids. Up on top is a big open area with a bench and trashcan (see pictures). The entrance was tiny and unassuming, so it was tricky finding it. Otherwise a nice, little hike if you wanna get away from all the noise and all.
Best views in La Jolla! Steep at the beginning, then a bit of an uphill for quite a ways, but remember to turn around periodically! Trailhead is right past the bridge on Al Bahr. Or you can skip the climb and drive straight to the top on Brodiaea, but what fun is that?
Hidden gem above the noise and traffic on Torrey Pines Road overlooking the La Jolla Cove. Unpaved path leading to the top of a hill with wonderful view to the north. On clear days you get to see the mountain ranges north of Los Angeles in the Angeles National Forest.
1.2mi hike up and back (about 45min). Beautiful views. Should follow AllTrails direction and park near Al Bahr Drive then hike up.
