Great urban trail. Starts off under the 210 freeway, and works its way along a winter-season brook. Eventually you’ll find yourself alongside ?M mansions and equestrian properties.
This is a nice shady hike and there’s year around water in the stream. where it comes from I don’t know but it’s a definitely go to hike for us.
One thing to note is if you are coming in from the sign near the map, the arrow shows up and to the right, but the trail starts behind the sign, walking under the bridge.
Coming via Metro? Take the 662 to Lincoln and Woodbury (By McDonald’s) and walk over.
Great hike you just have to come early because you’ll be here for a while. The sight are great.! Does anyone know how late you can park here in the afternoon before they closeNULL
Flint Canyon Trail is one of those hidden gems that punches way above its weight. Perfect if you want a mellow hike with just enough scenery to clear your head without committing to a full-on mountain trek. The trail is well-kept, shaded by gorgeous old trees, and you get pockets of that quiet, almost dreamlike canyon vibe that feels miles away from city noise. Great for walking, running, or just vibing out with a coffee and letting your mind wander. Bonus points for being dog-friendly and not overcrowded like a lot of L.A. spots. Five stars easy — this is my go-to spot when I need to disappear for an hour without leaving town.
