Omg so much walking. Just for a bench. Blargh. There was no water anywhere. I was so very “ugh” mode by the time I got to the watchtower. And then phone died. lol

Very beautiful enter to the net of trails 🥾
Many amazing sunrise points. Wildlife as deers, coyotes, owls. I love this trail and recommend it for morning hikes, bike rides or dog walking.
Parking is very limited.

Great walk in a lovely canyon with grandkids dogs or lovers. Great scenic vistas. Trees shaded trails and mountain passes. Minutes from Pasadena, Descanso gardens and a beautiful neighborhood.

Nice canyon area west of Pasadena. Trails not crowded but exposed. Take plenty of water and sunblock. Not a lot of climbing but great view of the los Angeles basin, Pasadena, and the mountain ranges around it. Hot in the summer, so start early and avoid the afternoon heat.
