Really disappointing for a dog park. Just a fenced in area with no shade. The river next to it is gross, too. We wouldn’t let our dog in. Better to drive a few min to the botanical garden and walk with them on leash.

Great part for the dogs. Just need maybe shade cover over the benches, but everything else is okay

Very secluded spot. Large and small dogs separated. 1 bench per side with no shade. Water fountain on each side but it scared my dog and she didn’t drink. Walkway beside park led to Holston River.

Large dog run for both big and small dogs. It has dog water fountains, but they weren’t working and my dog didn’t understand them. We’re going to bring our own water next time, but will definitely come back. It’s right on the Holston River and there’s even a trail down to the water next to the park. My dog and I had a great time.
I gave four stars instead of five because there are no shaded areas within the fence and there is a huge field between the park and the river that isn’t included in the dog run but certainly could be. I do not understand why the run isn’t bigger, but it’s still a good size. Also there is only one bench per side of the run, so be aware of that.

I heard about this new dog park from a friend so we came to see it today. It has a side for small dogs under 25 lbs and 13 inches at the shoulder or less and a side for big dogs. There is a water fountain for dogs only so be sure to bring your own water for yourself as there are no shade spots at all. There is one bench on both sides and no restroom facilities.
