Othello Regional Park offers a spacious, grassy dog park perfect for Knoxville, Maryland dog owners seeking a clean and pet-friendly location to exercise their pups. The fenced-in dog park features broad open areas ensuring ample space for dogs to run and play, while pet-friendly trails around the park invite visitors to enjoy dog-friendly hiking experiences throughout beautiful surroundings.
While the dog park is fairly basic with just a large open field and few amenities for canine enrichment, it provides a relaxed, comfortable place for off-leash fun. Benches inside the park let owners supervise in comfort, while doggie waste bags and trash cans help keep the area tidy. Outside the designated dog area, you’ll find water fountains (including low spouts for dogs), clean restrooms, playgrounds for children, picnic pavilions, and picturesque scenery—making this a great spot for the whole family to enjoy.
The part of the park we were in had a wonderful pavilion with the playground right next to it and all the children were having such a wonderful time at the amazing playground. And the adults enjoyed time at the pavilion catching up. We all enjoyed a picnic and birthday cake at The pavilion. It’s a wonderful place for a party!!
There is a designated dog park and many people will walk their dogs along the trails as well. The dog park is large. There are no obstacles or other “fun’ things. It just a large open grass park. The grass is always cut low. There are two benches to sit on. The nearest water station is near the playground and does have the low dog bowl filler. But there should be one in the dog park itself IMO. There are doggie bags for use and trash cans. Really tall fence. Some holes in the ground so be careful if you’re running around out there with your dog. Overall it’s OK if you want to bring a chuck it and throw a ball but not much else to do there for your dog.
This park is very big! I enjoy taking my dog here to walk on the equine trail. I wish there were more paved trails. The paved trail is one loop. There are restrooms and water fountains (even low ones for dogs).
This is a nice park. Very clean with a playground for kids.
I always worried when I have to go at a park because of the toilet. But this park has a clean building toilet. Not the portable one.
Great, brand new park with a fenced-in playground for 2-12 yo kids. Paved trails encircle the sports playing fields. Has water fountains and clean restrooms. Has many lighted gazebos to sit and have a nice picnic. Set in a very picturesque area. Truly wonderful.
