Was confused when we pulled in after a very long 2 days of driving with our dog but an amazing volunteer for the shelter that’s located to side of the dog park pointed us in the right direction. Plenty of room for our dog to run, fresh dog bath in a dog bone shaped pool, cold running water, shady places for the humans to sit and well taken care of. Other dog parents were extremely helpful in getting around the area with a dog and the shelter volunteers brought shelter dogs looking for homes out to play in the adjacent dog yard. It’s perfect tbh!!!!
What an AMAZING park! Safe, clean and potable water for the dogs. Bags are provided to easily clean your pets waste up, and the best parts are, there’s shaded areas for owners, and pets. And the park is segregated! So no other animals can bug you or your pooch when you’re just trying to get in and out for a quick walk and toss of the ball/poo while traveling. 10/10
I found this park to be well maintained, there are some fun obstacles for the dogs and a little swimming pool which has been really nice on these hot summer days. There is even a nice paved walking path on both the small and large dog sides. It does appear just to be a shelter when you first enter the parking lot, but the park is off to the right side/behind the shelter building.
Nice park for off-leash roaming. First time here and it was a little confusing because you really just see the animal shelter, the dog park is in the back. Will bring my fur babies back for sure!
Would give it 5 stars but it looks like the large dog portion has not been mowed or taken care of for a good while. It is fine now, but if it continue nature will be taking back this park. Normally a great place for the dogs to roam free and run around safely.
