What a hidden gem just a stones throw from M37. We had a great time taking the grandkids for a picnic. Followed by a walk near the pond and spillway.
It’s a beautiful natural environment and a great place to hike and walk dogs..
Twenty years later and it’s still a very peaceful place to go for a small walk.
Beautiful hiking area near Traverse City Michigan in lovely quaint town of Mayfield
We even saw some rabbits having fun
Beautiful park! There is a pavilion with a fire pit/grill area right in the pavilion. Restrooms are behind the pavilion, and look to be kept up and cleaned frequently! This is a PERFECT location for photos, hiking, birthday parties, and just about anything! My kids loved to play near the creek and the pond, we also hiked to the top where the landing is. Beautiful view! On our way up, there was a little water fall and a bridge over it, which the kiddos also loved. Will be coming back!
