We love going to Gateway trail for a nice family hike. It’s a great park to bring a picnic lunch, play at the playground and take a relaxing walk.

Great area for hiking. Some easy hikes and a more advance one that connected to the Carolina Thread Trail. Lots of trees down from Hurricane Helene, but cleared off the trails and still open

Try Cardiac Hill when you visit. It smells so great up there. Thank you to whoever keeps the trails clear. Beautiful trails to pick from. We saw a lot of butterflies today. They were too quick to photograph. Enjoy the pictures.

My absolute favorite “hidden gem” in Kings Mountain. It’s absolutely beautiful. ❤️ They have many different trails to walk on. You can ride your bike and bring your dogs. It’s just a beautiful place. I wish I would’ve taken more photos but I was too busy admiring nature.
