Scenic, pleasant, ideal for a picnic (if you’re there during good weather).
A little bit of history too.
Also good for a run, hike, walk, cycling. Worth a trip if you’re trying to burn off some of that Mcdonalds.
One of the best places in Pennsylvania for outing with friends and family. It’s a huge place with hundreds of acres of land to do a lot of outdoor activities.
The park had a lot of different ways to see the sites. There are a number of hiking trails, you can rent a bike or you can take the auto tour. Whichever option you choose I would definitely recommend you so at the visitor’s center first and read about the history before going out. We did the auto tour and it took about an hour.
We took our 9 yr old nephew. We had a wonderful educational visit. Weather was fantastic.
Beautiful national park 🇺🇸 The history, monuments, trails, picnic areas, nature and beautiful animals makes it a great place to visit. If you are lucky enough you may see Albert the grey heron, or chopper the beaver.
