Very nice large city park. Big boat launch on the river, multiple parking lots, ball fields, and bathrooms. Pretty nice trail system around the park and a sledding hill. Nice bench areas throughout. It’s big enough that even when there are lots of people you can usually find quiet areas.

The weather was kinda lousy, but that isn’t the Park’s fault

Mark Boyd

The boat ramp has a nasty drop off so beware when backing in. Also, there is no dock and the sea wall is quite high making getting in and out of your boat a little tricky, especially for younger and older boaters/anglers.
The park itself is great and the kayak launch is great for kayakers. It’s just not the safest place to launch a boat, which is a shame since the fishing is very good in this pool.

This is honestly my happy place and is great for fishing 😄

This park is beautiful. Perfect to rent out a shelter for a party, lovely views, etc..

In the winter it has some pretty good sledding as well.
