Cliffwood Beach Waterfront Park in Keyport, NJ is a scenic, well-maintained community space perfect for families and dog lovers alike. With its pet-friendly trails, a long wooden boardwalk along the beach, and beautiful views of the New York skyline, it’s a favorite spot for locals looking to walk their dogs and enjoy fresh air. The park comes alive during the summer, offering tranquil sunrises and sunsets right by the water, and lush picnic areas for relaxation.
The area is thoughtfully equipped with amenities including ample parking, playgrounds for kids, picnic tables, and clean restrooms. While there are spacious paths and plenty of space for dog walks, please be aware that some reviews mention the presence of fleas and ticks along the waterfront, so check your pets after your visit. Although the beach is rocky and the water is not recommended for swimming, the park itself offers a peaceful, pet-friendly environment for exercise and family outings.
Great park. Went for a walk to capture some peace and serenity. The people and families who walked by were very friendly.

Good place for kids within the playground but not for walking your dog around the waterfront. This area is filled with fleas and ticks, very difficult to stay clear of them hear. People swim here, don’t do that its disgusting. The water is very polluted, the factories and petro plants are right across the bay.

Best places to sun set. Good for fishing. Kids love those beach. Only problem is we have to deal with small flies which is very irritating sometimes
This was one of our (mine and my soulmates) favorite spots to walk around and get exercise. The scenic view from the small boardwalk was amazing! You could see New York’s skyline and in the summertime the sky had such beautiful colors with beautiful sunrises and sunsets! The park had such a perfect little path to walk around. It was also very close to our home.

Entering this beautifully maintained park is like stepping into a world of wonder! The playground, with its charming ship and sailor-themed slides, is just the beginning of the fun. Alongside the beach, there’s a lovely wooden boardwalk perfect for leisurely strolls. The breathing garden offers a sprawling picnic area, and the beachside view is simply breathtaking. Despite its many attractions, the park remains refreshingly uncrowded. Restrooms may be a bit elusive, but ample parking ensures convenience for visitors.
