If you’re traveling along California’s I-5 and looking for a much-needed break for your four-legged friend, Dog Park at Bravo Land is a convenient and accessible stop. This small, free dog park features artificial turf and is praised for being wheelchair accessible, making it easy for everyone to use. Although the park is compact, it offers enough space for dogs to stretch their legs and sniff around vertical elements—perfect for a quick energy burn during long drives in rural California.
Unique to the Bravo Land rest stop, this dog-friendly area provides free public restrooms nearby and a water bowl under shaded trees, though water faucets may be locked and inaccessible to some visitors. While the park lacks grassy grounds and permanent shade, it’s the only dedicated dog park in the area, making it invaluable for pet owners traveling through Kettleman City. Be aware that the entrance gate can be tricky and is intended for drop-offs rather than walks with your dog inside the fenced area.
Small free dog park with fake grass. Free public restrooms. Thank you Bravo Land!
Small space but sufficient with plenty of vertical elements for dogs to investigate. Water faucets require keys and are inaccessible to visitors; should be replaced with water saving faucets.
It’s a very small dog park, but probably worth stopping by because it’s the only one in that area.
Nice spot on the way to along califoria 5…also a dog park too.
Really great spot and MUCH NEEDED dog area.
There’s no grassy or shady area at this stop so it can be real pain for your dog. But now that this is here, my dog can enjoy some turf time without having to walk and sniff around on hot asphalt and pavement.
The dog park area itself is small.
The gate is tricky since you lock it from the outside so it’s meant to be where you drop off your dog I suppose instead of going there to play with your dog.
There’s a water bowl and trees.
