If craving for an easy nature hike, this is the place. Very pretty, bridges, a tunnel. We started at the Rockland trailhead and hiked to the tunnel and back. Crossed Sandy Creek twice and explored the tunnel. Kids loved it.

The tunnel is dark))When you park, left to tunnel, right to the Allegheny. You have approximately 8 miles then the trail turns into a 4 wheeler path after the tunnel. It was fun.Not recommended for the faint of heart.Around the 10 mile mark there was 2 trees down.Lift and carry your bike.

A beautiful path to hike or ride! Fun graffiti in the tunnels and under the bridges. Tasteful and not intrusive! The tunnels entrsnces,, built around 1905 are architectural wonders, aged with ivy and moss!

We were told the creek was just ahead. We walked 1/2 mile and didn’t see an access. Apparently we didn’t walk far enough because we met a few people who had gone swimming. Our dog loves the walk.

The trail is great! I a few miles out and back and the walk was great. Scenery along the trail was stunning.
